The Keyless Window Restrictor is part of the Window Security from UAP Limited. Featuring a 20cm long cable, the Keyless Window Restrictor will limit the opening of a window to under 100mm when installed correctly - a gap big enough to allow air to circulate around a room, yet small enough to prevent children from fitting through.
A push-to-lock feature allows the Keyless Window Restrictor cable to be locked into place by pushing the mechanism into place. It is possible to fit the Keyless Window Restrictor on fire escape windows.
The Keyless Window Restrictor has been designed to take a minimum load of 35kg when pushed open – a window may need to have multiple restrictors fitted to achieve this requirement. There is no minimum or maximum dimension for which windows can be used, as long as the opening is restricted to 89mm or 100mm. Fitting instructions can be found here.
Available in a white finish, the Keyless Window Restrictor features a hardened steel cable which is difficult to cut, making it a great security product for ground floor windows. Once locked into the locking system, the Keyless Window Restrictor cable can withstand forces over 100kg – twice the industry standard of 50kg!
